CCI National Awards

Lifetime Achievement Award
CCI/Canada’s highest honour is the lifetime achievement award. The award is intended to recognize camp professionals and organizations who have made a lasting impact in the Christian Camping world through long-term service at both a regional and national level.

The Peter Bloom Ambassador Award
The Peter Bloom National Ambassador Award is CCI/Canada’s way of recognizing a person’s contribution to Christian camping on a national level. The award is intended to recognize individuals, volunteers, camps, agencies or corporations who have made outstanding (i.e., beyond the norm) contributions on the national level.

The Mel Stevens Award of Excellence
The Mel Steven award of Excellence is CCI/Canada’s way of recognizing a person’s contribution to Christian camping within their province. The award is intended to recognize individuals, volunteers, camps, agencies or corporations who have made outstanding (i.e., beyond the norm) contributions within their region.

Award Determination
Nominations for awards may be brought forward from any Camp or member in good standing with CCI/Canada. Nominations for awards will be forwarded to the Awards committee who will connect with regional teams and the National Board to determine award recipients.
