The Camp Cook will be responsible for meeting all of the dietary needs of the campers and staff at Harbour Ridge Camp during the weeks of camp. This will include:
• Meal and snack planning
• Ordering food and supplies
• Meal and snack preparation and serving
• Maintaining health and cleanliness standards of kitchen and dining hall
The Camp Cook will be required to have extensive cooking experience for large groups and at a minimum a valid Food Handler’s Certificate.
The Camp Cook will be expected to work a unique schedule as follows:
Week 1: July 4 – July 8 9:00am – 5:00pm
Week 2: July 11 – July 15 7:00am – 7:00pm
Week 3: July 18 – July 22 - OFF
Week 4: July 25 – July 29 7:00am – 7:00pm
Week 5: August 1 – August 5 – OFF
Week 6: August 8 – August 12 – 7:00am – 7:00pm
Week 7: August 15 – August 19 – 9:00am – 5:00pm
Week 8: August 22 – August 29 - OFF
$600/week (including OFF weeks) + accommodation & meals (if required, during camp weeks)
The Camp Cook will report to the Camp Director.
All positions (18 years or older) at Harbour Ridge Camp will be required to obtain a Criminal Record check and will be required to agree and adhere to the Free Methodist Church in Canada Statement of Faith.
