Our purpose is to show God's love in a practical way by providing activities and experiences that campers will remember for years to come. Each camp provides competent and enthusiastic staff who desire to see kids, teens and families have an exciting camping experience, develop new friendships and learn more about God's love.

Every year around 1,500 people of all ages make the trip to Kedleston Gospel Camp to meet with the Living God and fellowship with His people while enjoying His creation. Our rich history of 76 years is a testament to the faithfulness of the Lord, and we are eager to see how God would have us move into the future.

Nestled on the shores of beautiful Last Mountain Lake, our beloved camp has a long history of affiliation with partner churches across southern Saskatchewan. Assiniboia Apostolic Church, Rock of the Valley Community Church in Lumsden, Hillcrest Apostolic Church in Moose Jaw, and the Regina Apostolic Church are our affiliate churches, and our covering is under the Apostolic Church of Pentecost.

The Location:
Kedleston Gospel Camp is located on the shores of beautiful Last Mountain Lake, North East of Bethune and is within easy driving distance of Regina, Lumsden, Moose Jaw and Assiniboia. Our Executive Director can easily work from several surrounding communities with the benefit of living in on-site accommodations from late May to early September each year.

The Role:
We are looking for a ministry minded, Holy Spirit led, driven individual to become the next Executive Director at Kedleston Gospel Camp. This role is a full time, year round position that involves planning and running approximately 16 camps for all ages throughout the summer. There are a number of additional responsibilities the Executive Director will need to navigate. Each year our Executive Director works to hire a group of about 50 staff that helps deliver a successful summer of programming.

Our Executive Director will be passionate about discipling and raising up strong followers of Christ as a result of their time at KGC. This will require a keen ability to discern and recruit the right people who will represent KGC for a summer as well as investing in developing leaders for the future through various programs. Additionally, strong skills in managing people while holding the team accountable to the clearly outlined expectations of our ministry partners will be required. It is imperative that the Executive Director will have a strong understanding of risk management to keep campers, staff and the camp protected and safe.

Our Executive Director will have vision from the Lord for the future of KGC, and the organizational skills to see that vision come to fruition each year, over multiple years. The ability to build both long and short term vision are crucial for a successful candidate, as well as the ability to clearly articulate direction to partners, staff, campers and church leaders will be imperative.

Our relationships with affiliate churches are incredibly important to us and our new Executive Director will work hard to see the depth of these relationships continue to grow. It is part of our governance model that our Executive Director will be an active and committed attendee of one of our partner churches, and would be required to hold true to the values of Christ and His teachings.

Kedleston has a rich history of an engaged cabin owner base who partner and volunteer in multiple initiatives as a part of their commitment to the ministry of the Gospel at Kedleston. Our new Executive Director will be great with managing both projects and people of all ages. This person will be a strong, experienced leader who leads by example and loves people through change and a variety of situations.

Our camp has grown and expanded through the past decade, so although many of our facilities are beautiful and new, there is always something to be updated and improved. Our Executive Director will be responsible for contributing to these projects with an incredible partnership base and help from various sources. Bringing an understanding of the operations of camp to these projects will be a vital aspect to see the successful completion of useful and effective infrastructure upgrades.

Our new Executive Director will report directly to a Board of Directors, and will be required to come to quarterly meetings with an active voice. A successful Executive Director will have a gift of strong and clear communication as presentations and public speaking will be a regular part of the job, both before camp, during camp, and beyond.

• Working with a hired team to plan, organize and deliver multiple camps for all ages each summer
