Located on the shores of Cassidy Lake, outside Norton, New Brunswick, Camp Tulakadik is a place where children, youth, families and the community gather to enjoy and experience God’s creation and make lasting relationships, with one another and with Jesus Christ.
Camp Tulakadik is owned and operated by the Saint John-Kings Association of Baptist Churches. The Camp features winterized cabins, a main lodge, basketball courts, outdoor rock climbing and rappelling walls, waterfront boats, a pool, a water park, and much more. Camp Tulakadik is currently inviting qualified applicants to apply for the key and exciting position of PERMANENT/FULL-TIME EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of Camp Tulakadik.
Employed by Camp Tulakadik and reporting to the camp board, the Director will have overall daily operational responsibilities to lead, implement and execute programs and activities, all towards the goal of offering excellence in Christ-centered camping. The Director will be a team leader who brings strategic, creative, enthusiastic leadership to the camp’s ministry. Responsibilities include communicating and furthering camp vision, staff training and supervision, program development and implementation (in conjunction with the program director), and promotion.
Qualified applicants should possess a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the ability to express this love. Our Director must have a passion for Christ-centered camping ministry. They must also be in agreement with and supportive of the ministry of the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada. The successful candidate will have camping experience and a passion for outdoor Christian education.
This position is full-time and will begin on March 7th, 2022. Residence at the Camp for the duration of the employment period is desired, and is required during the summer months.
