Beacon is an Interdenominational Christian Camp that seeks to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ and the discipling of children, youth and families. It operates a full summer schedule of weeklong camps with between 50 to 100 campers plus staff per session, and during the rest of the year runs rental camps with church and school groups, plus seasonal camps during holiday breaks. Our dining hall and kitchen is certified for feeding up to 150 persons.

Beacon’s Food Service Manager will be responsible for the oversight of food services at camp, including menu planning, ordering of food and supplies, monitoring food service budget, and managing kitchen staff. They will also be responsible for liaising with sessional head cooks, volunteer cooks and other staff. They are expected to be Christians who live out their faith and are members of a local church, and who subscribe to Beacon’s mission and statement of faith, which may be found at

This position is a year-round, Muskoka-based position, though some of the work can be done from home. From September to May, it requires 20-30 monthly hours of direct attention. From June to August, it requires 10-12 hours a day of attention. Free on-site accommodation is available whenever needed.
