Description and Mission

Purpose
To make Christ become real to each camper in a new and personal way
To inspire them with a sense of mission and vision to share the return of Christ to the world
To make the Bible come alive in ways it has never before
To provide a spiritual experience and atmosphere for the youth
To allow Christian youth to form positive friendships with other Christian youth
To give campers a sense of worth in the eyes of God as His child
To provide role models of happy consecrated Christians
To gain a sense of the beauty and splendor of nature, and learn what it teaches about God
To help campers develop and use their personal talents for Christ
To demonstrate by Word and action the benefits of following Gods principles in, dress, social relations, music and entertainment
To give each camper the opportunity to accept Christ as his/her personal Savior
To meet the following needs of the campers
1. Physical Development
- through sports and games
- work together and be kind to others
2. Mental Development
- learn to solve problems and work out conflicts with others in a civil and God pleasing fashion
- To think independently and make good choices.
3. Spiritual Development
- learn about how their lives can be changed by accepting the Lord Jesus as their Savior
- grow closer to God through:
o studying the Bible
o worship in word and music
o partaking in activities that reinforce spiritual lessons

To operate and maintain a Bible Camp in order to glorify God by making the truth of Jesus Christ known to our youth through Word and deed in our unique community of communities.

Program Information & Activities Offered

Pinelodge Bible Camp offers both day camp and residential camp programs for campers age 6-15. These camps are divided over 4 weeks according to age. Week 1 is a day camp for campers completed grade 1-2, week 2 is a day camp for campers completed grade 3-4, week 3 is a residential camp for campers completed grade 5 -6 and week 4 is a residential camp for campers completed grade 7-9. During week 4 we offer 2 programs: one being a classic camp and the second being an outdoor adventure camp. One weekend in the camp season is dedicated as a family camp weekend.
Regular Camp activities include: crafts, sports, archery, pelletry, zipline, nature walks wide games, chapels, cabin time, campfire, and other special events.

Facility Information

Originally an old golf course, Pinelodge Bible Camp was established in 2007 with a board desiring to have a Bible Camp for the local children and youth. From there it has grown exponentially. Currently the camp has 10 cabins that sleep 8 campers and 2 staff members as well as a large pole building, dining hall (70 person capacity inside and 80 person capacity on wrap around deck) basketball pad, playing field, volleyball court, 40 ft high zipline, and more!
