Description and Mission
"Bringing Camp To Your Neighbourhood"
Monarch Bible Camp is a mobile ministry focussing mainly on day camp programs. We minister to small communities in the Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton areas. Day camps offer families an affordable camp experience for their children close to home. Our programs are stimulating, exciting and challenging. Monarch brings a full camp program to you!
We also run one week of Resident Camp on rented facilities. NEW in 2017 - renting Camp Endobanah just outside of Norland. This brings us into home territory. Come enjoy a rustic camp surrounded by water on 3 sides.
Monarch also runs programs during the school year. During COVID restrictions we are running an online Thursday night club called "On Guard". email monarch@onehoppecanada.ca to ask for a registration form.
Program Information & Activities Offered
Activities include: archery, mountain biking, canoes, kayaks, stand-up Paddle Boards,cub cars, drama, trampoline, crafts, slack line, swim lessons and recreational swimming, large and small group games, Bible learning and cooperative learning.
Facility Information
Day camps are run in a variety of locations - in churches, on private property, at rented camps. Monarch is runs school year programs in partnership with Youth Unlimited Kawartha.
Resident Camp is now run at Camp Endobanah jut outside of Norland. This former Boy Scout Camp surrounded by water on 3 sides, is quiet, private, welcoming and a restful place. It has a rustic dining hall and fully equipped kitchen, large swimming area, boat launching spot, out door Chapel and so much more. Cabins sleep 8 to 14 guests.
